New exhibition Andreas Gursky Hayward Gallery

Hayward Gallery reopens in January 2018. For its reopening, it will welcome the first major UK retrospective of the work of the German photographer Andreas Gursky.
For the past 30 years, his unique style has been the subject of solo exhibitions at institutions around the world including the National Museum of Art, Japan (2014), the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark (2012) and the Museum of Modern Art, New York (2001). According to Ralph Rugoff, Hayward Gallery director, Gursky is a true innovator engaged in thinking about and picturing the times in which we live in, he is the perfect artist for launching the 50th anniversary year of the Hayward.

New Claude Monet exhibition at National Gallery

Monet and Architecture a Credit Suisse exhibition. The father of impressionism will take place in the National Gallery for a major exhibition focused on his love of architecture, a side of the artist not known enough. Among 70 masterpieces you’ll be able to recognize London’s structures such as in Charing Cross Bridge, reflets sur la Tamise, 1899 – 1901. As Monet said, “Without fog, London would not be beautiful”.

Coal Drops Yard a new shopping center at King's Cross

Coal Drops Yard, a new shopping center, will open behind King’s Cross station in October 2018. Once the transformation will be over you’ll find there 65 new shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. At 100.000 square feet and consisting of five unique units. Heaven for fashion and design lovers.
You’ll find an ‘immersive retail experience’, only a few brands had been confirmed so far, thus this place might have some surprises!

New Cirque du Soleil theatre show OVO

Cirque du Soleil returns to London in January 2018 with OVO at the Royal Albert Hall. OVO has a carnival vibe, celebrating the world of insects.
The cast of OVO is comprised of 50 performing artists from 12 countries specializing in many acrobatic acts.

Theatre Show Mary Stewart Duke of York’s Theatre in London
Mary Stewart is is a performance of two actresses playing with fate. They both will play queens, one in power, one in prison.
Juliet Stevenson and Lia Williams will decide who will play which role before each performance by tossing a coin
After a sold-out season at the Almeida in 2016-2017, Robert Icke’s adaptation transfers to Duke of York’s Theatre in London’s West End from 13 January for a limited run.
