Apsley House : Number One

Apsley House or Number One was the home of the 1st Duke of Wellington, located in the heart of Knightsbridge, at the end of Hyde Park. The original house was built in 1778 for Lord Apsley, but the first Duke of Wellington bought the house to his broke brother. He remained in the house until his death in 1852. Nowadays, it became a museum where all the Duke’s collections are exposed. You can see great paintings such as Velazquez, Van Dyck, Goya, and so many others.

Queen’s Gallery : the royal exhibition 

The Queen’s Gallery is a public collection of all Kings & Queens that led the United Kingdom so far. It is located in Buckingham Palace. It was closed from 1999 to 2002 but Queen Elizabeth II reopened it for her Golden Jubilee in 2002.

It is nowadays the biggest public exhibitions of the Royal Collection. A real must see!

Harrods : the luxurious store 

Harrods opened in 1851 as a single store with 3 employees and in 1880 it had more than a hundred. Not only Harrods is famous for its huge brands such as Dior and Gucci but also for its restaurant and food hall. It is one of the most famous store in the world, and the biggest with its 330 departments.

Hyde Park : Royal Park 

In 1536, Hyde park was a hunting place for King Henry VIII and it had no access to the public. Finally, the park opened its door to the public in 1637 and it soon became a fashionable place to see. It is the largest of all the royal gardens and the most famous. You can come and stare at the Italians Gardens or the Peter Pan’s status. There are a lot of things to do and see such as the Diana Memorial, the restaurants, the animations and the exhibitions at the Serpentine Gallery.

Rococo : Chocolate lovers 

The Rococo is the award winning for the best chocolatier by Motcomb and so many others. They are known for being the first luxurious chocolate shop. They also are the first to create such combinations with exotic fruit, sea salt, pepper, etc. A must-see for chocolate lovers.


Helene Darroze at The Connaught : The best world’s chef 

This two starred michelin restaurant is considered as one of the best restaurant in London. Run by Helene Darroze, often award as the best female chef of the world, it is a real paradise place in London. It is expensive (consider at least 110£ per person) but it is worth it, you will probably never eat this way again.

Zuma Restaurant : visit japan 

The Zuma is a japanese gastronomic restaurant located in the Heart of Knightsbridge, led by Rainer Becker, a worldly known chef, this restaurant is considered as the best japanese restaurant of London. You won’t want to miss it!

Buckingham Palace : the Palace 

Of course, you can’t come to Knightsbridge without visiting Buckingham Palace, the house of the monarch. You better check before going cause it is sometimes close to visit. You can visit the states rooms, the garden, the throne room and so many more, to feel close to the United Kingdom reign.

St James Park : London’s most beautiful park 

If you want to fully discover Knighstbridge, you should start with the Queen’s Gallery, then Buckingham Palace and finally St James Park. This park is absolutely stunning, probably the most beautiful of all the city. This is the only place of the city where you can stare at pelicans in the middle of all those swans.
