Travelling to London seems like a hassle if you’ve never been here. Tube? Train? Bus? I already have a headache thinking about it. But even though London is a very busy city, it’s also one of the best in the world worth visiting, so before packing your luggage, have a look at our Top travel hacks for a London trip!

 

#1 Check the weather and pack accordingly

London weather is always tricky so always check the weather forecast before you pack. We’ve all experienced the hot sunny day followed by the cold rainy day. Typically, January is the coldest month, with an average low of 7°C and July is the hottest, with an average high of 19 °C. But still, London wouldn’t be London without this weather!

#2 Public transport? Oyster Card? Debit Card? Boris Bike?

Car ? Forget about it. London will be one of your biggest nightmares. However, the city is famous for its public transport. From Underground to Overground, buses and quick train rides, you’ll have plenty of transportation means to get to the place you want to visit. Make sure to grab an Oyster Card since it’s 40% cheaper than buying tickets. If you are in a sporty mood, you can even try Boris Bikes but be careful, always look right instead of left!

The escalators up and down the stations have standing and walking lanes marked on them. Always stand on the right if you intend to stand and use the left if you plan on scaling the stairs faster than a gazelle!

#3 Book prior to your arrival

For If you don’t want to end up sleeping in a hired car, always book your Airbnb before coming to London!
